Infrared Profile Pack

The Infrared Profile Pack contains custom dcp profiles for 154 camera models. These are used to set a white balance in Infrared images with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and other editors.

Lightroom and Photoshop support a White Balance Temp range of 2,000 kelvin to 50,000 kelvin. This range does not provide enough values required for color infrared digital photography. When using the default Adobe Raw profiles, you may find that your Temp values reach one end of the scale or the other, without being able to get to the desired white balance.

The profiles in this pack are used shift the color temperature of your infrared image. This allows you to select a desired color temperature value within the existing range. There are two profiles included for each camera; Infrared Temp -50 and Infrared Temp -100. Different combinations of cameras and infrared cut-off filters may react differently to temperature shifts. This is why two profiles are included.

Usage Instructions

Supported Raw Editors

The following raw editors support DNG Color Profile (*.dcp) files.

Supported Cameras

If your camera does not appear on this list, see the instructions below to Add a Camera. Thanks to everyone who has provided the raw files used to create these profiles. I’ve included your name next to the profile you helped to create.

DNG Profile Editor could not open the selected image.

The Adobe DNG Profile Editor cannot read DNG files or create profiles for the following cameras. This prevents temperature-shifted profiles from being created for Adobe editors. I recommend using darktable, RawTherapee, or ON1 for editing images from these cameras.

The Adobe DNG Profile Editor only supports dual-illuminant DNG files. Dual-illuminant profiles contain two color profiles, one for daylight color temperature and one for tungsten color temperature. The temperature slider in Lightroom and Camera Raw will blend between these two profiles to set a matching color temperature. Single-illuminant raw files or images with only an embedded base profile, cannot be use to create a temperature-shifted profile in the DNG Profile Editor.

Add a Camera

If your camera does not appear above, I can create profiles with an image from your camera. Please be follow these requirements.
