Installing LUTs in Luminar Neo

Use these instructions to install LUTs from these LUT packs or any third-party LUT.

• PRO Infrared LUTs
• LUTs for Color Infrared Video and Photography
• Faux Infrared LUTs and Profiles

Install Single LUT File

• Open Luminar Neo.
• Select an image and select Edit at the top of the screen.
• In the Tools column, select Mood.
• Click the Choose LUT dropdown.
• Select Add Custom LUT File….
• Select a *.cube file.
• Click the Add button.

Install Multiple LUT Files

macOS

• Open Finder.
• If LUTs are contained in a zip file, unzip your LUTs by double clicking on the zip file.
• Open another Finder window.
• Click on Applications folder.
• Ctrl-click on the Luminar Neo icon.
• Select Show Package Contents from the drop down menu.
• Double-click on Contents folder.
• Double-click on Frameworks folder.
• Double-click on MIPLResources.framework folder.
• Double-Click on Resources folder.
• Double-click on DefaultLUTs folder.
• Drag or copy your LUTs or folder(s) containing your LUTs into the DefaultLUTs folder.

Windows

• Open File Explorer.
• If LUTs are contained in a zip file, unzip your LUTs by double clicking on the zip file.
• Open another File Explorer window.
• Paste the following address in the address bar: %appdata%\Luminar Neo\Data\LutFiles
• Drag or copy your LUTs or folder(s) containing your LUTs into the LutFiles folder.

Organize LUTs into Folders

You can organize your LUTs into folders within the DefaultLUTs (macOS) or LutFiles (Windows) folder. Create any folders you like and drag the LUT files into the folders within. The LUTs displayed in the Mood module will match the folder structure you use in LutFiles.

Using LUTs

• Open Luminar Neo.
• Select an image and select Edit at the top of the screen.
• In the Tools column, select Mood.
• Click the Choose LUT dropdown.
• Select a LUT.
